First things first..
[ Review of 2005 Resolutions ]
1) Get the grades to fly to UK
Done.. Alhamdulillah :)
2) Make sure I tell the people I love how much I care for them each day
Ermm.. Probably not each day.. But I do say 'I love you' to my family and -ahem- friend a lot more than I used to.. Does that count?
3) Cut down on my online spending <-- Wahaha.. I'll break this one in no time :P
Is breaking my own resolution considered a resolution? Because if it is, I've kept this one damn well :D
[ 2005 Recap ]
January
I was still waiting for Cambridge's offer when I was told that I had been pooled.. So did my 2 chaletmates.. In the end, we got rejected anyway.. Oh well.. AS results were just in and I scraped through Physics, fortunately.. We also endured the torture that was Bangsawan, but I think nobody remembers how stressful it was back then, considering that afterwards we made almost a cleen sweep of all the awards.. Maybe that's why victory was so sweet :)
February
Valentine's Day lent a rosy tint to my view of the world, but only before my Computing A2 project threatened to swallow me whole.. Then there was my birthday.. At midnight, my friends tried to surprise me at my chalet.. Just when I thought I had them fooled, they doused me with a pail of soap water.. That's when I also learned about birthday politics :P
March
My Computing class encountered the "Speak up!" guy.. I finally got my A2 project submitted and I played my last National Age-Group Chess Championship.. Veritas sparked a huge controversy that effectively splitted the college into two camps as the verbal warfare continued..
April
The college revamped a lot.. New chalet computers, better wireless Internet, new Student Council office, new TVs with Astro in the cafe.. My family got into an accident along the PLUS highway and I got my skull CAT scanned the next week.. I donated my teddy bear to a shelter.. (It was an emotional day for me, OK? Stop sniggering!).. Survived my mock exams before chilling out during EWD.. Jocelyn Bell Burnell came to visit :)
May
Peter Morris, our college's ex-principle, came to visit.. A-Levels arrived and it was crunch time.. Had a crush on Survivor Rob in between studies.. LOL.. I had disasterous Physics papers.. Went to Dr. F's open house twice.. My bag, together with my handphone, got stolen outside the exam hall while I was doing my Mechanics paper :/
June
Had a good stroll down memory lane as my college days became numbered.. After A-Levels were over, I joined the house trip to Port Dickson.. We played truth or dare on Day 1 and fell off the banana boat on Day 2.. Student Dinner was bittersweet.. I sang onstage! Then, I suffered from College Withdrawal Syndrome before heading off for BTN..
