A new year is finally here.. Out with 2004, in with 2005..
Nonetheless, this year's celebration has undoubtedly been overshadowed by the grim situation that has befallen Asia's tsunami victims.. I guess I could never fully comprehend the magnitude of the tragedy that has happened because I'm not the one experiencing it.. Let's just pray for the well-being of the victims and hope they'll get the necessary aid ASAP.. You can make your own donation through The Star or Maybank's Tsunami Relief Fund.. Personally, though, I think it's pretty ironic that despite The Star's success in collecting more than RM3mil by now, we still see news articles reporting the lack of aid for the victims.. I just hope that they use the money quickly to buy food, clean water and health supplies before things get much worse..
As for the new year, I've decided that in 2005, I will finally succeed in keeping one new year's resolution.. And what would that resolution be?
I will purposely break my own new year's resolution. :P
Well, OK, let's just start this off by making a review of my 2004 resolutions :
1) Make a good time schedule and stick to it
A good schedule? Done.. Fully coloured and now sticks proudly on my college room's door.. Collecting dust..
2) Pay more attention in class
It has come to my attention that I usually start falling asleep 15 minutes into my classes..
3) Finish my homework on time
I finish my homework.. sometimes.. heh..
4) Remember to save money
I've managed to save a small sum in my ASB account, while at the same time obliterating the balances of all my other bank accounts :P
5) Get a boyfriend (oh, c'mon.. you can't expect me NOT to include this :P)
Hey.. You know what.. Maybe I did keep a new year's resolution after all! :)
I was thinking of doing a whole review of 2004, just like last year when I did my 2003 review, but I think that can wait until later.. When I can actually remember all the events that happened :P
So what are my 2005 resolutions?
1) Get the grades to fly to UK
2) Make sure I tell the people I love how much I care for them each day
3) Cut down on my online spending <-- Wahaha.. I'll break this one in no time :P
Happy new year to everyone :)
