I've got my reply from Cambridge today.. Looks like I've been pooled.. After months of waiting, it's now time to.. wait some more :P The final decision would only be made by late January, so I guess it's not over yet for me.. Getting pooled feels like being "unwanted" in some ways, but I guess it's a better predicament than getting rejected early on :P
So right after I got my letter, I SMSed a few of my collegemates to ask about their replies :
My SMS : Hv u heard frm Cambridge?
V's reply : Pooled. Do u know who's in?
W's reply : Rejected. Sigh :'(
X's reply : I hvn't heard anything yet. Did u get a letter or e-mail?
Y's reply : Nope, nothing. I heard A, B, C, D and E got in.
Z's reply : Not yet. Mayb tomoro. BTW, I heard abt urs. G'luck!
All this in a span of 30 minutes.. heh.. My collegemates and I are blessed with informative, up-to-date friends, I tell you.. Now this is what I call news at your fingertips :)
So far we've got 4 offers from Cambridge and 1 offer from Oxford.. Congrats, people! And good luck to all the other Oxbridge applicants as well.. At this rate, we'll beat our senior's Oxbridge tally in no time.. hehe :)
Right now, I've still got a bulk of my Computing A2 project yet to be completed.. And I don't see how I'm going to finish this up by this Sunday.. Gulp :P
