I, Norhidayah Azman, hereby tender my resignation as the full-time maid effective immediately.
WOOHHHOOO!!! Um, I mean, thank you.
Since the last maid got fired more than a month ago, I've been the one taking over (some of) the household chores.. But our new maid just arrived today, which means I'm off the hook now.. She's a lovely lady.. Very industrious.. In fact, she even looks like she genuinely likes my youngest brother..
Could this be the one we've all been waiting for? Could it really be the perfect maid?
When she first arrived, we apologized for the messy state of our home and she coolly replied, "Ala, takde orang gaji memang la camtu.."
My mum and I just stared at each other :P
Dear Mr. Right,
I know I've been going on and on about how much I can't wait to meet you.. And I know that by now, you must be on your way to meet me already, but I'm afraid I have to ask you to slow down a bit.. I need to retake Household Chores 101 so that by the time you get here, I won't chase you away with my (lack of) domesticity.
