My family and I went to Ipoh today to attend my cousin's get-together.. She's just given birth to a beautiful baby boy.. Afterwards, we visited my grandfather whom I haven't seen since I left for the UK..
He said he didn't really mind that his children don't come to visit him anymore.

That's so sad.. How can anybody not mind, especially if you're aged and you've spent a huge chunk of your life raising your children to become respectable adults..
My tutor used to say that he just makes his tutees think that he cares for them.. He said, "In the end, they just come and go."
That's an odd thing to say for somebody who went out of his way to help me with my accommodation in Edinburgh a few months ago.
Which makes me think.. I wonder if indifference is their way of disguising their hurt.
