Political games, anyone?
It's the time of year again.. The Malaysian society's AGM is looming near and nominations have been made.. You'd be surprised to find that there has actually been a lot going on behind the scenes of an AGM election, and I don't think that it's exclusive to my university alone..
Well, to cut a long story short, I've been nominated for the posts of Vice President (Female), Webmaster and Media Officer.. The rule is that you can only run for a maximum of 2 posts, so I had to forfeit one nomination.. It took me days to figure out what to do and I asked countless people for advice.. In the end, Allah sent me His guidance and indeed, my choice was made.. Alhamdulillah.. Or else it would've taken me ages and I still wouldn't have known which post to run for :P
So yeah, my mind's set now.. Can't wait for the manifestos to begin.. (Yup, we all have to deliver a 5 minute manifesto each).. I just love the thrill of delivering a manifesto.. There's something about talking to a captive audience that's just so.. captivating :D
I hope it all goes well.. Wish me luck ;)
BTW, I had a pretty sucky day today.. But God sent me an angel yet again, this time by the name of M.. He's been really sweet and I can't believe the lengths he would go through just to cheer me up :)
I'll always keep my chin up :)
