EXAMS ARE OVER!
Well, I can't say that I've done very well.. But at least I know I'm not going to fail.. Hopefully I can get the 2:1 marks I need.. Ammiiinnn..
Anyway, a lot has happened in the past 2 weeks..
1) Annual Fund Telephone Caller
I applied, got through the telephone interview, but unfortunately didn't make it past the face-to-face interview.. I think I have a good inkling why.. When I was asked why I wanted to join the team, I said I wasn't really good in asking for money and I wanted to learn.. But I think that was enough to put them off.. So Interview Tip #1 : Always say you that have what they want from you :P
2) Student Associate Scheme
This job requires me to become a temporary primary school teacher :) I just thought that it would be fun to try this out, although I didn't really expect to get it.. After a telephone interview, now I'm off to join their Induction Day in two week's time.. I'm also trying to get hold of Bevois Town's head teacher so that she'll let me teach there.. The school is practically walking distance from my hall :D
3) Went for another chess match last night.. Our team lost.. Again.. 0.5-4.5.. Sigh.. This is so demoralizing :(
So despite the exams and all, I've been keeping myself pretty busy.. My new semester starts next week.. Till then, I've got a few days left to relax and 'recover' from semester 1.. LOL :P
