Today, I celebrated T's birthday at the new Nando's SACC.. Boy, did we have it good.. You see, it wasn't until E reminded me about her birthday that I started planning for a surprise birthday party.. Thanks, E! LOL.. Anyway, she didn't know that I asked H, F and Z to join us.. I also asked E, M and P to come along but they couldn't come.. Oh well.. I also asked the Nando's people to get me a birthday cake and they did :)
I met T at 12.30pm and nobody else was there, so I told her "Jom la kita gi jalan-jalan dulu!" then we went shopping at Kompleks PKNS next door.. I was busily SMS-ing the rest of the gang - under the pretence of SMS-ing my boyfriend :) - while she continued looking for headscarves.. Then when they all arrived, we met up with them, much to the surprise of T.. hehe.. Then after we finished eating, the waiter brought out the cake and she was equally surprised :)
Sigh, I love doing surprise parties.. hehehe.. I think once you've been used to the college's tradition of having (supposedly) surprise birthday parties, there's no looking back.. I still remember doing Z's and just seeing the smile on his face made it all worth it.. And doing T's today was really cool because it's the first time I settled everything - from the invitations to the cake - all through the phone.. I didn't move a muscle at all.. Hehehe.. God bless technology :)
BTW, have you noticed that our public rail transportation is getting more punctual by the day? I can actually rely on the KTM Komuter timetables without allocating 10-minute delays and a trip from Shah Alam to KLCC is 1 hour long, not a minute more.. Pretty cool, eh? KTM rocks :)
