I've just found out that I've been shoved into postgrad housing because apparently the university thinks I'm a new postgrad student.. Not only am I told to pay GBP 350 as deposit (which undergraduates don't have to), they also gave me an enhanced room with washbasin instead of an ensuite room - I'll have to share toilets with 6 other people! The place is in Small Halls, the furthest away from the central Highfield campus and most Malaysians, including 2 of my collegemates, are either in Glen Eyre or Wessex Lane, both of which are a couple of miles away from my halls..

Talk about challenges.. sheesh.. If I don't get this sorted out properly, I might just have to stay with a bunch of old, I mean, mature blokes while my girl friends enjoy each other's company.. Sigh.. But the good thing is I've got a couple of backup plans so I'm good..

At least for now :P

Post grad students are always helpful+some of them do treat you for FREE FOODS a lot of time...
