I've passed my JPJ theory test.. Yay!

Now that I've successfully learned how to ride a bicycle (thanks to MANY gifted teachers), now I'm on the road (pun intended) to conquer another menacing mobile - a manual transmission car.. I went for the 5-hour KPP course last Saturday and only registered for today's test yesterday.. The woman from the driving school, Mrs. M was worried that I might flunk since I didn't practice at all before booking my test date, so I decided to sign up for a practice session this morning, a couple of hours before the real test.. So I did the computerized practice test twice.. Well, thrice if you count the time when I failed the preliminary eyesight test.. Bloody license plate numbers :P

Met up with J, my KPP coursemate and E, my ex-schoolmate.. We were all busy doing last-minute reading that we barely had time to chat with one another.. Our group included another guy who apparently was repeating his test.. We headed off to the test centre in Klang.. During the exam, J and another candidate abruptly left the computer lab and I didn't know why.. I proceeded with my test and one by one, everybody else finished their test and left the lab, leaving me as the last person who left the lab..

As soon as the test was done, we all received our results.. I found out, to my surprise, that I was the only in our group of 4 who passed the test.. J left early because she failed the eyesight test, so now she has to appeal to JPJ, do a medical checkup, get certified that she's not blind and then reapply to do the test.. I felt so sorry for her.. After we got back from Klang, we hung out at Kompleks PKNS before she taught me how to overcome my phobia of riding a minibus :)

Sigh.. She asked me to wait for her to settle her issues and go to the next 6-hour amali course with her, but I said no.. I had already signed up for tomorrow's course and I felt that it would be too late for me to wait for her.. I would be pretty busy once my A-Level results are out.. I mean, it was the right thing to do, right?

Well then how come I feel so bad about it? The saddest part is that I probably wouldn't be seeing her again after this.. Our driving lessons will be strictly personal and I doubt that we'd be going for our practical exam at the same time :(

But on a personal note, being the only one who passed sure made my day today.. Muahahahahaha.. Alhamdulillah ;)
