I've had bouts of coughing and a sore throat since last Friday.. Last night was the worst.. I lost my voice completely.. But as of last night, the coughing's gone and the throat's healing.. At first, I wanted to cancel today's IT class at school because of my (missing) voice.. But then En. J gave me a request-cum-order to finish some extra IT work he gave to his students, so I figured that if I didn't go and teach today, there'll be a huge backlog of work by the time I see them again.. So I went.. The students streamed in one by one, mostly late as usual.. And when I was teaching, almost half of them didn't understand what I was saying because they were busy talking to each other or fiddling with their handphones.. It's so frustrating to explain the same thing over and over again because there'll be one group of people still scratching their heads while another group starts to yawn with boredom.. Plus, my throat was getting so damn irritated.. It felt like there's a blade stuck in my throat everytime I spoke a single word..
In the end, I blasted everything out to them.. Yes, I gave them a pretty good verbal assault.. What's worse, a small misunderstanding happened and because of that, I yelled at the whole classroom :P That's a bit too much, don't you think? So after the whole thing, I felt so horrible..
And that's when I started to feel like crying.
I mean, what the heck is that? I think my tears barrier has become somewhat lowered over these past few weeks.. It's so easy for me to lose it nowadays.. So to hold back my tears, I did the next best thing.. Food therapy :P
