I'm not normal.. As I've told Mr. C during one of my previous IELTS speaking tests, unlike most girls, I don't fancy shopping for clothes, accessories, jewellery, etc.. The only time my hands would itch to spend, spend, spend is when I see any of the following :
1) Computer stuff
2) Stationery
3) Glossy magazines
4) Nett-priced items in discount stores (i.e. RM2 shops)
5) Lelong's RM1 auction corner
And guess what.. Tomorrow, there's a Computer Fair being held at PWTC, KL.. I'm going to grab myself a wireless network card and possibly a bundle of CD-Rs to backup all the movies on my hard drive.. heh.. I think my laptop needs reformatting..
While I was browsing through some pricelists at Lowyat.net, I discovered that the external CD-RW writer I bought during last year's fair now costs RM50 less.. My goodness.. That's an annual depreciation of 18%.. Which means, in less than 6 years' time, my writer will be worthless.. But come to think of it, 6 years is quite a long time considering the short lifespans of today's computer hardware.. Oh well, I'm eyeing on upgrading my laptop before I (hopefully) fly to UK next year, anyway.. hehehe..
Must remember to refrain myself.
