Holidays! Yeay!!
OK, so all this while I thought it was 7 weeks, but after counting the days again properly, I found out it was only 6.. There goes one week of my holidays :P
In my head, I've got a multitude of things to do, yet I'm not too sure whether I'm capable of completing everything.. During the last 3-week break, I managed to finish 50% of my holiday workload, which isn't too bad, I suppose.. I'll try to get 75% this time around.. heh..
On Thursday, the college dinner-cum-open-house was held by the Student Council.. IMHO, I take back every bad thing I've said about the SC in the past.. I think they're doing a great job and I wouldn't have them any other way.. Well, except more assertiveness on the chalets' (no) network issue :P
The food was superb.. Nasi minyak, lemang, beef and chicken rendang, nasi himpit and air bandung.. It was heavenly.. The best part was when Z performed.. Sometimes I feel like the luckiest girl in the world.. I was snapping pictures (with R's camera :P) like crazy.. Even K suggested that I go stand next to Z on stage while K snaps a picture of us :P
I've been in a very daredevil-ly mood these past few days.. That night was no exception.. I got 2 of my friends to take pictures with their crushes whom they've admired from afar.. One was frenzied with joy and the other was.. well.. fuming :P All I can say is: SORRY!!!!!
On Friday, the college's latest play, "Laughter In The Dark" was held.. My petbro, A was on stage.. This time around, the script had more sexual innuendos than before.. I bet Mr. C must be appreciating the more liberal set of actors he's working with..
Frankly, seeing the play has brought so much memories to us senior 'players'.. Looking at the extensive props that Mr. H laid out, I couldn't help imagining myself actually walking around on stage in my waitress suit during "Waldorf Salad" 2 semesters ago.. Both F and R share my sense of nostalgia.. Sigh..
Saturday was Parents' Day.. Apparently Mr. C mentioned that he's never seen me without a smile on my face, which really puzzled my dad because I always seemed sulky at home.. So Mr. C assumed that it must be due to academic pressures and he gave my dad the best (and most hilarious) advice I've ever heard: "Don't let her study too much."
Hahahahahahahahahahaha.. ROTFL :D
Right now I'm still midway through unpacking all the stuff I brought back from college.. I've succeeded in setting up my laptop to connect to my home's Streamyx broadband account (yay!).. In my head, there's a multitude of things I want to do during the holidays but I can't start any proper planning unless I finish my unpacking.. Which I believe wouldn't be very soon :P
I'm planning on holding an open house on Saturday, Dec 10.. Yeah, I know, it's almost 2 weeks away and it's nearing the end of Syawal.. But considering the packed schedule of open houses tentative for this week, I think I postpone mine.. Anyone around KL and the Klang Valley area? You're welcomed to come :)
