I'm hooked.. Ladies and gentlemen, on this fine Wednesday afternoon, I would like to announce..
I'm going to write a novel.
Well, a blog novel actually, not unlike the kind that my senior used to do.. But what the heck, who cares if people say I'm a copycat.. At least I know my story will be different.. Even though the theme might be the same.. heh :P
So what persuaded me? NaNoWriMo.. That's NAN-no WRY-Mo.. So the deal now is for me to complete a novel with 50000 words throughout the month of November.. Anyone who does that will be declared a winner.. How easy is that? Well, OK, so probably the 'prize' isn't very worthwhile, but why not? As I read through the official site's FAQ, it said :
If you don't do it now, you probably never will. Novel writing is mostly a "one day" event. As in "One day, I'd like to write a novel." Here's the truth: 99% of us, if left to our own devices, would never make the time to write a novel.
I couldn't agree more.. Although with my impending Physics AS coming up, I doubt I'd have much time to achieve this goal, but that doesn't mean I can't try..
The title? Yet to be named :P
