Here I am, back in college.. Heh, sorry for not updating much over the past week.. It's been a hectic week so I couldn't do much with the blog..
Last Wednesday, I went to school to teach VB (with a full class, thankfully).. I managed to teach them the basic skills to get them through the programming section for their upcoming SPM paper.. Hopefully, they'll remember what I said :P
Then on Thursday, I went to Mid Valley with Z to watch Puteri Gunung Ledang.. It costed around RM20mil to make and I have to say it wasn't your typical Malay film.. The special effects were at par with Western movies.. But I don't think the producers can recoup their capital through local screenings alone, so I really hope the film does well internationally.. The film has been entered for the Venice film festival and they're getting rave reviews about it.. Malaysia Boleh :)
During the weekend, my family and I went to Port Dickson for my mom's faculty meeting.. I happened to meet A, the son of my mom's friend, who incidentally is my super senior from KYUEM.. He's now studying Accountancy at Cardiff.. When we chatted, it never crossed my mind that he could've attended the recent Alumni Week held at college.. So there I was going on and on about our super seniors who came back to college to give this small university fair when he duly interrupted me to say, "Oh, I was the one who organized that."
Gulp.
I think I remembered saying that during the fair, I didn't go to Cardiff's table before I scrambled away for air :P
Before we left PD, we managed to buy some T-shirts at Teluk Kemang.. Then it was off to Shah Alam.. We arrived at 3pm.. Since I had to pick up N at the commuter station at 4pm before leaving for college, it meant I was left me with less than an hour to pack all my stuff into the car :P
So here I am, back at KYUEM.. What happened to my holiday plans? Let's just say mission failed..
