Went for my first choir practice.. After last week's audition, I was cast as a soprano.. Today, we were given the lyrics for Abba's "Money, Money, Money".. The pitch was unbelievably high and I wasn't familiar at all with the song.. But it was fun and it sort of reignited my passion for singing.. After the rehearsal, I was singing all my favourite songs all the way to dinner :)
At night, there was the IAW nasyid competition for males, following yesterday's female category.. Each house had their own specialties, but the best had to be Sapphire who went in last.. Their performance was superb, led by the college's star performer, A.. The best part was when FI and I cheekily called out our pet brothers' names because they looked so cute onstage! :P
I brought along my mini digicam that I bought through BuySell around 8 months ago (refer to Dec 23 blog entry).. I never really got to use it because the battery that came with it had went dead after one week and I simply forgot to replace it.. Now that I've changed it, I decided to bring it along with me for the nasyid competition.. I was happily snapping pictures every chance I got.. And then when I went to the cafe, I clumsily deleted all the pictures in the digicam's memory.. Grrr.. I lost all my pictures, including the one I took with my petbro.. Oh well, I guess there's still next time.. Once I realized that all the pictures were gone, I took a few more pictures again, although definitely not as much as before the incident..
But I totally love this one picture which T took for me.. And I've turned it into my wallpaper.. Thanks a lot T :)
