I wonder how it feels like to be Ust. M?
He teaches General Studies, a component made compulsory by LAN for all Malaysian students.. Among the subjects taught are Malaysian Studies and Islamic Studies.. The thing about GS is that you only need to pass the final exam and a LAN certification would be yours.. That's exactly the reason why GS students - including me - make use of our GS classes as our Resource Centre periods.. You can find more than half of us working on our Maths, Econs or English homework.. Although I successively yawn 5 minutes into class, I couldn't help wondering how it would feel like for Ust. M who has to teach a whole lecture hall of students who couldn't care less about what he's talking about in the first place..
Life in this college is enjoyable - but only if you make it so.. I think for the past couple of weeks I've been doing so many silly things that would've made me cringe on days when I'm sane.. God gave you life so that you could fully utilize it.. Granted, the definition for life varies from one person to anotehr.. Some people might think that slaving away on Chemistry at the RC is the way to live.. But for me, life equals risk.. It's about taking chances.. I still remember Robert Frost's The Road Not Taken which we learned in Form 5.. You're bound to find crossroads in life and more often than not, it's "the one less traveled by" that makes life all the more interesting and worthwhile.. I get the greatest pleasure from the slightest adrenaline rush.. Be it while embarrassing myself with a junior or escaping Mr. R's Computer Club meeting :P
Last night was Sapphire's house dinner a.k.a. revelation night for the junior pet brothers and sisters.. Great food, great company.. My 2 pet sisters, E and W, successfully sniffed out who their senior pet brother and sister were, me and Z.. On the other hand, my junior pet brother, A, failed, so his punishment was a good dose of face paint.. muahahaha.. Finally, my conscience is clear.. I've succeeded in taking my revenge on the face painting I received last year from my own senior petbro, ZW.. hehehe.. Towards the end of the dinner, all the juniors were drenched by water balloons fired expertly by the seniors :)
