I think I'm spreading myself too thin.. I've been teaching part-time for 6 days straight now.. And I'm not spending enough time with the people closest to me.. But you know what really pissed me off today? I actually declined an invitation from my old schoolmate because I had to teach Visual Basic at school.. And when I got there, nobody came.. I was so bloody irritated because I really wanted to go out with my old friend but I didn't.. All that for nothing.. Grrr..
It was a pretty crazy day.. I went to an optical store nearby and paid a deposit of RM30.. I was already crossing the road when I realized that I left my files at the store :P So I sheepishly went back to get them, only to be told that I had only paid RM28.. So I scoured my bag for the extra money, but I couldn't find any.. Oh, the embarrassment.. Luckily the guy was kind enough to let me off the hook.. phew..
In the afternoon, I saw Mr. C online.. Everybody's been buzzing about their IELTS results, so I asked him if I could ask him a question that would probably annoy him a lot.. Then he replied that if it was about IELTS, it would.. Gulp.. Then and there, I decided that waiting till college reopens doesn't sound too bad.. I think I can wait :P
I saw the fireworks display from Dataran Shah Alam right in my front lawn.. It was so lovely.. I think over the years, the displays keep getting bigger and longer, which is really cool.. Watching it just makes me feel like being a kid again, going 'ooh' and 'aah' all over :)
