I'M FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE....
Well, OK, that's an exaggeration.. But the feeling of freedom I'm experiencing after yesterday's Accounting AS papers is, well, unexplainable :P
How was my exam yesterday? Hmm.. Let's just say that resitting in November is no longer an option.. But a requirement..
Right now, all I feel like doing is - nothing.. I've become my old self again.. My old lazy, sloth-like self.. Yessss.. I never thought the day would come.. My days of sleeping late watching movies, Futurama, etc. are finally here.. Yeeehhhaaaaaaaaaaaa! :)
Now I'm counting down the days to my semester holidays.. Iskk.. So many movies to watch.. So many friends to meet.. So much food to eat..
It's funny that down the road, you'd be looking back at your days in school/college/university/etc. and laugh at how much you wanted to grow up so fast back then, only to miss them later in your life..
As for now? I still feel like I'm stuck with studying for the whole of eternity.. I still can't wait to burn all my books once all of this is over.. But the only thing I can do right now is to treasure my days as a student and use them to the fullest..
Something which is perfectly captured in this one verse from Baz Luhrmann's song, "Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)"
Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth.
Oh, never mind.
You will not understand the power and beauty of your youth until they've faded.
But trust me, in 20 years, you'll look back at photos of yourself and recall in a way you can't grasp now how much possibility lay before you and how fabulous you really looked.
You are not as fat as you imagine.
