Sorry for not updating.. I'm back in college now and the unthinkable had happened.. I've turned into a nerd!
Well, OK, so my definition of being a nerd is someone who studies more than 1 minute per day, excluding classes.. But with my AS exams looming near, I can't afford to play around anymore.. Can't you see the darn timer ticking away on top of this blog entry?? Talk about pressure!!!
So now, instead of spending my evenings in IT Lab 2 - my 2nd chalet - I make short stops at the Resource Centre for some hardcore cramming.. At night, I continue studying until our gang adjourns to the cafe for supper.. I've been doing this for the last couple of days and I could feel some of my defunct brain cells beginning to work again.. Woohoo! :P Granted, most of my friends have started studying - as in real studying - since our first week in KYUEM.. Do I feel as if I've missed out on a lot? Most probably.. But then I doubt that I'd even start on my studying if it wasn't for the pressure :P So you say you hate last-minute studying? For me, I just revel in it..
I'm now the centre of a scandalous affair.. Yes, you read correctly.. An affair.. Concocted expertly by my creative group of friends.. It's amazing, really.. In the cafe, we were all teasing F about getting sexually harrased by a particular teacher.. To divert attention from him, he told us all a revelation.. He was told by this teacher that I was his favourite student! So in the end, I received numerous catcalls from my friends, all referring to me and this teacher.. It's so humilitating! I really give credit to F for dumping all the negative vibes my way.. I got totally grilled the whole day while he walked away scot-free.. Grr..
On Tuesday, I got myself a surprise.. My ex gave me this cute, vanilla-scented teddy bear! It's so sweet of him.. Especially since I've never received a teddy bear before.. Oh my God, why does He have to test me this way.. I've already said my thanks to him, albeit not face-to-face.. Maybe because I don't know what I would want to say to him.. I keep telling myself that I'm over him, but there are times when he keeps popping into mind.. And now that his teddy bear is proudly residing on my bed, this means it's the last thing I see before I sleep.. It's so cute and cuddly! And the smell of vanilla is so heavenly..
OK, so it isn't helping me much.. Right now I just don't want to think about it.. I have to concentrate on my AS exams.. No guy is worth jeapordizing your future for..
