Today has to be one of the best days of my life.. We had our house lunch, the first since I stepped foot here in KYUEM.. I also received good news from the Admin Dept.. They managed to print the remaining 130 copies (the admin people ran out of A3 paper) before lunch, so that allowed us to distribute all 240 copies of Veritas after the assembly.. Cool!
And the highlight of the day : distribution of Veritas! It was so cool.. After the headmaster's speech, I went to the rostrum to announce the arrival of our beloved newsletter.. And as soon as assembly ended, everybody almost raced to the back of the hall to get their copy! In 10 minutes flat, all 240 copies were snapped up!! I'm so happy I want to cry.. *sob* :~)
Then for our tutorial, my tutor Mr. A paid for this lavish spread of food.. Sweet!!! From the cafe door, I could see P, my tutormate who's also in our Veritas team.. He raised his fist from where he sat and I instinctively raised my own.. We were both equally ecstatic over the overwhelming response we received for Veritas.. It was one of those defining moments of my life.. I've never felt so accomplished..
I am forever indebted to everybody in our Veritas team.. Without them all this wouldn't have been possible.. Darn.. This sounds like a boring speech.. Well, I mean, really.. All the way back from assembly, all I could think of was how I'm blessed to be working with all these super friends who would put so much effort into making Veritas a successful reality..
