My mom wants to send me herself to Kolej Yayasan Saad, Melaka, the place for my 1-week job attachment.. Which means I don't have to return to college tomorrow to join E, F and H for the trip to KYSM by van.. Which also means I have another full day at home.. hehehe..
I took some time to chat with our new maid.. She's the third one in the last 2 months :P I just call her Bibi.. I couldn't possible comprehend what she was saying with her thick Indonesian accent, but from what I could grasp, she's only working at my house for 2 weeks before another replacement comes in.. Heh, then that'll be our fourth maid :P She told me (I think) that she's very lonely here in Malaysia.. And it has only been 5 days since she arrived! I really pity her.. But still, it's kind of hard to convey your sympathy when you can barely understand what she's saying to you :P
My mom brought me and my 2 younger brothers to this restaurant at Shah Alam Lake Park for dinner.. And for entertainment, there was this one guy who doubled up as the DJ and the singer! The best part was that for each song, his voice would become completely different.. From Jamal Abdillah's deep voice to P. Ramlee's classic croon to some incredulously high-pitched sound, this amazing guy delivered all the tunes flawlessly.. It was as if there was a whole ensemble of singers singing all sorts of different music, but in reality it's just a one-man show! You couldn't even tell if it was the same person or not.. I really tip my hat off to that guy.. Too bad there weren't any flowers around for me to give him.. hehe :)
