Last night I went for drama practice.. The drama's called 'Henry the 10th' and I play the country bumpkin and an extra in Acts 1 and 2 respectively.. I do relish the fact that I have considerably less lines to commit to memory.. But waiting almost 2 hours just to appear for a few minutes in each rehearsal is quite taxing in itself.. These part few days, I've developed quite a short fuse which makes me restless easily.. So for the whole drama practice, I was walking here and there, even when I was due to appear in the next few seconds :P
My chalet's network still doesn't work.. I guess the network's practising favouritism or something.. Because for some funny reason, I always see one or two people accessing the Internet from their chalets.. It just makes you wonder is there justice in this world when you could only see the same 3 people in your network while other people are happily surfing the Internet.. Grr..
Yesterday T told me that Mr. K wouldn't be in today, which meant that we had the first class of the day free.. So I was blissfully sleeping when my handphone rang.. Guess who it was? Mr. K!!! He asked where I was and I answered "Chalet," in my groggiest voice.. Then I heard laughter on the other line.. Then I asked "Why?".. "Aren't you coming to class?" he said.. Huh.. What?? Apparently, Mr. K came after all so there was no truth in what T told me.. God knows how I scrambled out of my bed and got myself ready in 30 minutes flat :P
And when I got there, it turned out that T's coming down with flu and I couldn't contact my other classmate N, who was presumably sleeping.. So I was the only one who came to class! Mr. K was clearly disappointed, but there was nothing he could do but to cancel the class.. Poor him :(
I was expecting a good scolding from Mr. M for not doing my Pure Maths assignment.. And what do you know.. Pn. S decided to take up his period, so we didn't have to go to his class! Yay! Phew.. I really think I'm pushing my luck here.. Have to work on the assignment sooner or later..
Mr. Z says he's recommending 4 of his English class students to sit for the IELTS exam this June, ahead of everybody else.. I'm among those four.. Hmm.. On one hand, I really appreciate the opportunity, but somehow I'm really reluctant of facing the prospect of ending my English classes prematurely.. I really like Mr. Z's classes despite how boring it can be sometimes..
Then later in Computing, Mr. R told me to redo the letter I wrote for him.. What was the correction? He simply just rephrased a sentence I wrote, which to me didn't really make that much of a difference anyway.. But since I knew I was already in his blacklist, I didn't say much save for a nod.. I think that incident has somehow planted a hatred seed towards him inside me.. And once I realized that UCAS forms don't have references coming from students' subject teachers after all, I guess that seed's just going to grow more and more..
