It's a miracle.. I actually expected lots and lots of scolding from my teachers for not completing my homework.. But as at 3pm today, I'm still alive and well.. hahaha.. I can't believe my luck.. Mr. K moved on to our next Accounting chapter, Mr. S told us to finish our homework in class (heh) and both my Maths teachers wanted to discuss the questions next week after they've finished covering the rest of our syllabus.. Thank God!!! Alhamdulillah.. I've been granted temporary reprieve.. I vow to myself that from now on, I'll be a good, responsible student.. I promise.. (fingers crossed :P)
I asked E to buy me a new network card in KL last weekend and I owed F RM55 for footing the bill for me.. After paying F last night, I was quite perplexed as to why E still hadn't given me the network card by then.. He asked, "Do you want to use it tonight?" to which I replied "What do you think?".. And then he just kept quiet.. Then this morning in Physics class, F told me that E wanted to hold on to the network card for at least another week just to get on my nerves.. What the.. After more than one month of no Internet, does he seriously think that one more week would be enough to make me suffer? He's dead wrong..
Anyway, I was planning on carrying out a "don't know, don't care" strategy.. As in not bothering to ask about my card and stuff.. Making him feel guilty that I've already paid for the card but I'm 'patiently' waiting for it.. But he sort of robbed me from the pleasure of my ingenious plan by giving the card to me, right before I wrote this blog entry.. Darn.. Haha.. Oh well.. Maybe next time then..
Yesterday was kind of funny.. I was with FI in my chalet when my other chaletmate came up to us and ranted about how she's 'hopeless' in Maths.. just because she scored a B.. FI and I looked at each other and then stared at her.. She continued going on and on about how 'stupid' she felt for getting only a B.. And then FI told her that she also got a B for her Maths paper and it wasn't such a big deal for her :P We all laughed and my chaletmate said "OK, now I don't feel so stupid."
Well, with all due respect to FI and my chaletmate, I'd just like to prove the point that competition is so tough here in KYUEM that knowing you're not the last is considered a victory :P
This week is all about catching up on my overdue homework.. And then studying for my semester exams.. And then cramming for my AS exams.. God, I'm already thinking about our semester holidays in July :P
