Went back home for the weekend - to find our previous maid fired.. And guess who was the temporary maid.. ME!
Went to Low Yat Plaza today.. It just so happened that all 3 of us - Me, T and E - had our own blogs so almost everything that happened to any of us was followed by a resounding "Blogger!".. The people at Blogger.com would've been very proud..
So many things happened that I've forgotten most of them by the time I'm writing this.. The most prominent that comes to mind? Me tripping at Kenny Rogers.. T's impressive skill at haggling.. E unexpectedly spending RM110 to repair his handphone.. And me getting into trouble with Mr. H, my drama director!
You see, we were having so much fun that we decided to return to college later than the usual 6.30pm curfew.. But it wasn't until my friend, F, who's also acting in the drama, called to inform me that she wouldn't be going to the drama rehearsal at 8.30pm.. Oh no! I totally forgot all about it! By then, it was way too late to do anything, so I just called Mr. H - after ringing up almost half of the college to get his number.. I was prepared with all sorts of excuses masterly supplied by T and E, but as soon as I heard Mr. H's growling "Hullo?" on the other end of the line, I went totally speechless.. My brain literally froze at the tone of his voice.. I mumbled something about me and F missing the drama rehearsal tonight.. And the line always went 'dead' everytime I delivered one-sentence replies to his interrogation.. The silence was so electric.. It was like I could feel his fury channeling through the phone.. Creepy..
When I asked another friend what happened during the rehearsal, he said Mr. H gave a speech on commitment.. Darn..
Anyway, there's nothing I can do about that now.. If I'm in for a verbal assault, bring it on.. I'll cross the bridge when I come to it.. Now, I have more important things to do.. Like surfing the Internet on my laptop!!! Yahoo!!!!! I bought a USB network card and now I'm back online.. Gosh.. Life is good.. Alhamdulillah..
Celebrations aside, I need to reset my focus to my impending Accounting exam this Wednesday.. Too much distractions.. hehe :P
