The Regent's arrival was a pretty lacklustre affair.. I agree with R that for a visit of a few hours' time, the college had spent a small fortune and for what? So many sacrifices were made from all parties - teachers, students, cleaners, painters - yet it doesn't seem to be worth all the trouble, if you ask me.. He just came and walked around our college a few times and ate with all KYUEMans before adjourning in his chaperoned 7 Series BMW..
But nevertheless, he sure is good-looking.. hehe :)
The food wasn't exactly what I would expect.. It was basically a tad more various compared to our dining hall food.. But in terms of flavour? Almost the same, if not worse.. And to think that our lunch was served by a leading hotel in KL.. Hmm.. OK, I'm still grateful for the food and the lavish cutlery used to serve lunch.. So I'll stop my complaints right here and now.. And I would also stop making degrading comparisons between KYUEM and KMB because a friend of mine, Mr. Makoto, suggested that our arrogance was the cause that God gave us the recent water shortage; a theory that I wouldn't discount.. Overall, I'm grateful for the opportunity to meet a real prince in flesh and blood, albeit staring from a good distance away :P
Word is buzzing around.. Black Adder is in for another bashing.. It seems that the whole senior batch doesn't like his article.. Yesterday, a small meeting was called for every member of the writer's house and from what I heard, they totally bared all.. Everything was put on the line.. Grouses were voiced out, tension was simmering, practically everybody made their voices heard.. It was an all-out war of words.. The outcome? Diplomatic hugs.. huh? What? It seems that they've cleared everything up and all is well now.. Hey, no drama? Hehehe.. (evil smirk)
Well, I'm glad that they've sorted everything out.. Black Adder will still receive his due share of animosity once his article is published.. But I truly hope that they would be able to differentiate between Black Adder and Veritas as a whole.. And that Black Adder himself would learn a few things on how to keep himself anonymous :P
And then when I met him, he said he wasn't going round telling people about his pen name.. And even he doesn't know how people knew about it.. Hmm..
I was happily surfing the net at IT Lab 2 when T called me up to remind me about the blood test for all students who took the recent Hepatitis B jabs in our college.. I totally forgot about it! The doctor wanted to check if our immunity levels were sufficient enough so that we didn't need extra jabs..
I went to the sickbay sweating profusely due to my phobia for needles.. As my turn came closer and closer, I started to feel nauseous.. And when my flesh was pricked, I looked everywhere else because I didn't dare to watch the needle.. And then after the whole procedure, the nurse commented on how cold my hands were.. Bloody blood test :P
