Iskk.. why do all the good things in life end so abruptly?
My network card went kaput on me again.. It was running fine last night but it refused to work since this afternoon.. My laptop seems to be able to detect my network card but it keeps telling me that the network cable's 'unplugged' despite having it firmly in place.. Using my chalet's network cable doesn't seem to work either.. So it's either the card or there's something wrong with my room's network socket.. Grrr.. Now I'm back to using my chalet's computer at midnight.. Iskkk.. why.. why..
I got my Statistics paper back today.. The marks were pretty OK by my standards.. But being amongst my absurdly intelligent classmates, I've been reduced to an average student.. Well, not that being average is bad.. But with the amount of competition in this college, sometimes I feel that the pressure to perform can be overwhelming at times..
Right now my mind's just not into my Accounting.. All articles for our college's newsletter, Veritas, is due tomorrow.. Well, supposedly.. We did set up a do-or-die deadline for next week.. I'm really hoping to collect most of the articles as soon as possible.. Then maybe we'll be able to - gasp - publish on time!
As for my exam this Wednesday? Like the wise Mr. K always says, "Don't worry too much." :P
