I got back my Pure Mathematics exam paper.. Thank God, if it weren't for that paper, I wouldn't score myself an A.. The marks were exactly the same as my last semester exam's, so I was pretty relieved.. Until I saw my friends' marks :P
That's the monumental problem with this college.. You think that you're doing a pretty fine job already.. And then one look at the person next to you, and then - bam.. Reality hits you like a steamroller.. You realize that you're just a nobody compared to these genius people.. And it sucks.. Not the people.. Well, not most of them.. But somehow being amongst these people make you feel so insignificant at times.. You feel as if nothing you do will be enough to compete with these textbook-devouring machines..
Heh.. I guess that's what they call healthy competition :)
Another member of our chess team for KMB pulled out.. Grrr.. People like him make me so furious.. They act as if they own the whole college and they could do anything they please.. Have you taken a look in the mirror??? We took great pains just to include him into the team in the last minute, and he easily pulls out.. What the..????? And he didn't even have the decency to inform me personally! Grrrrr..
I've asked the IT guy to check my network card for me and it turns out that it wasn't faulty in the first place.. It was the network port in my room that didn't work.. So I've made a report to the IT servicing centre.. Hopefully they'll take less than the 4 days they took to get to my room the last time..
