I can't believe the kind of friends I have.. Sometimes I just wonder, what did I do to deserve them..
Today during chess club, somebody tipped me off that my friends were putting together a (belated) birthday party for me and my other 2 friends, R and N.. So when E asked me out to go to the cafe and later to Classroom 2.12, I was definitely suspicious.. I was dead scared of getting dumped with a bucket of water or something.. So I purposely delayed myself from getting there, much to the annoyance of E.. muahahaha..
It turned out to be a really fun affair, without any drenching.. They bought a cake, french fries and a tray full of fried maggi!!! Oh my god.. My favourite food.. It was bliss.. I ended up eating about the size of 2 or 3 servings.. They all challenged me to finish off all the food.. I duly delivered.. hehehe..
It's kind of funny that it's been almost 3 weeks since my birthday, yet today alone, I've received another 3 presents from my friends.. hehe.. No wonder they didn't give their presents to me before.. They were waiting for the big surprise..
I don't know what I'd do without these guys.. Although their timing could use a little improvement, nevertheless I'm so touched by their gesture.. It really made my day..
