Went to Accounts class today and my teacher, Mr. K gave us our marked test papers back.. And I got full marks :P Well, our class did sort of discuss the questions 1st, so he was pretty indifferent towards our marks.. Can't really blame him..
I went into Statistics class with the worksheet Mrs. S told us to complete - blank.. Couldn't say the same for the rest of my classmates though.. Mrs. S even asked for volunteers to write the solutions onto the whiteboard.. I sat quietly at the back as I dunked my head lower and lower.. Thankfully I didn't get called up.. Phew.. Close call.. :P
The college's cafe has been taken over by the dining hall staff.. I didn't even get to say goodbye to the cafe's previous owner, Kak E.. But so far the change has been very delightful.. The food is top notch and the price is c.h.e.a.p... They make a killer dish of chicken fried rice.. Unfortunately they didn't offer our gang's quintessential cafe meal - fried maggi.. Next time I'm going to try the pattaya fried rice.. Darn.. All this talk about food is making me hungry.. It's funny that I always seem famished whenever I'm inside the college compound :P
Guess what.. As I was lazing around in my room after class, my chaletmate, I, knocked on my door and dropped me a bombshell - I'm elected as the director for our house, Sapphire, in the upcoming Nostalgic Malaysia play.. And it's this Sunday! I was initially daunted by the magnitude of the task at hand.. But then the thought of bossing around some of my less than amicable housemates was too good to pass.. The time has come.. for retribution.. muahaha..
We'll be doing a few scenes from a well-known movie starring P. Ramlee, Malaysia's most famous actor of all time.. Oh, and did I tell you that a good friend of mine, E, was also selected as the director? Hahaha.. I was practically laughing my head off when my chaletmate told me about the news.. Why? Because he was the other house treasurer who got ousted from the house committee.. He's also disillusioned by the whole committee and I knew how much he hated being assigned with these kinds of posts.. He said that he "can never be happy with this" and he "really hates them".. But so far he's been a very good sport by accepting the responsibility.. Personally, I've been wondering if our selection was purely a ploy to get us sloths to be more active in our house activities, considering that I've never ever joined a single fund-raising activity done by the house.. But anyway, it's not like I'm going to fold any time soon.. I hope..
Still got a lot of work to do.. A friend of mine advised me not to neglect my studies.. I'll try.. (fingers crossed)..
