My birthday's coming up in a few minutes.. yay.. Before I returned home, I got a few advanced "Happy Birthday!" greetings from my collegemates.. That was cool.. There were a few who lamented the fact that I won't be in college to celebrate, but I can't help thinking how lucky I am for the reprieve.. If not, I would've been drenched in water or something by now :P
My mom said that her boyfriend a.k.a. Mr. Uncle bought an absurdly expensive gift for me.. Around RM1000! Oh my God.. what the heck could it be? She didn't want to tell me what it is.. But obviously it shocked her as much as me over the hefty price tag.. I asked her "Is it girly-girly stuff?", referring to jewellery, toiletries, etc.. Completely ignoring the fact that I AM a girl.. Then she said "No" much to my relief :P
Tomorrow, Mr. Uncle's coming over to celebrate my birthday.. The cake is ready, my gifts are ready.. I just can't wait :)
Then my thoughts fly to my dad.. Where is he now? Will he come to see me? I kind of miss him.. But what if he comes when Mr. Uncle's here? Will they collide against each other? Will I be caught in the middle of a tug of war? Will they be competing to shower me with affection? Hey, that sounds like fun.. Muahahaha.. OK, so I'm exaggerating a bit here.. My dad and Mr. Uncle are on good terms.. But surely my dad can't feel pleased when he sees his daughter being pampered by a complete stranger?
Let's just see how things turn out tomorrow.. Hopefully there'll be lots and lots and lots of food.. mmm...
