Yesterday I went to Berjaya Times Square with Z.. The place turned out to be really boring.. It was HUGE but most of its lots were empty.. We even skipped the upper 2 floors, 9th and 10th, because our legs were killing us.. But of course, not before making a short stop at the supermarket to grab that chocolate pudding I craved so much :)
I suggested that we go to Pizza Hut, so Z told me that there was an outlet in BB Plaza.. He even wanted to lead me through the main entrance because it was my 1st visit there.. We ended up getting lost in Sungei Wang Plaza for a good half an hour or so :P When we finally got to BB Plaza (by exiting and re-entering the main entrance :P) we found out that there was no Pizza Hut there after all.. So we had to settle for Shakey's Pizza instead :P
When I arrived home, everybody was sick in some way or another - my mom's showing signs of fever, my brother's left eye is swollen to the size of a lemon, my youngest brother's lips are bruised as if he's been punched, and my dad's fever's so bad that he's mumbling in his sleep.. Then my dad 'asked' for help from my mom and I.. He has this project that he needs to present today but since he's been on medical leave for the last 2 days, he totally forgot about it.. He wanted my mom's advice on some mathematical calculations and he wanted me to teach him how to program in Visual Basic.. At least that was what we were initially told.. In the end, he imposed his ideas on my mom despite not knowing a single thing and I was supposed to build a program from scratch.. He scolded my mom for being 'unsupportive' and despite me telling him that I haven't programmed anything in VB for the last year, he forced me to do it..
Then when I proceeded to do that, I found out that my home computer didn't have VB installed.. So was my laptop.. So that ended my 'work' for him.. I downloaded a cracked version of it from Kazaa but it took 2 hours and my head was starting to throb.. So I asked Z to give me a wake-up call at 12am so that I could finish off the download after getting some sleep..
It turned out that the cracked software was missing a vital DLL file.. In short, it didn't work.. So despite spending another hour downloading some patches from Microsoft, it still wasn't working.. I shut down the computer and went to sleep..
In the morning, my head was so dizzy that I couldn't get up.. I had to cancel my outing with that old crush of mine because of it.. Darn.. He's due to return to his studies on Feb 5.. Would it be viable if I asked him out again next week? Stupid headache of mine..
Our maid went of for her holidays so she won't be back until Sunday evening.. Guess who has to hold the fort while she's away and almost everybody's sick?
