I tried to cram as many Accounting chapters as possible into my head during my two 40-minute blocks of Maths before the test.. Only to find something I didn't read being asked :P Let's just say that it doesn't bode really well for my AS chances in June :P
I received more accolades for my speech yesterday.. yipeeee.. hehehe.. Well, sorry for sounding like a brag, but I really had put a lot of effort - and heart - into that speech.. And to get as many acknowledgements for it as I am right now is the best thing that could ever happen to me.. I really feel like I've accomplished something even though the elections results won't be announced until 3pm tomorrow.. In fact, winning has become secondary for me compared to the joy I had in delivering yesterday's speech..

All day I was showered with 'Good luck, Dayah!' as the voting hours loomed near.. I'm totally apprehensive.. Honestly, I don't think I want to win.. Simply because I think I'm not ready for the responsibilities bestowed on a VP.. I mean, winning will be a huge boost to my ego, but then what? I'll be under constant scrutiny by the college community and I'll have lesser time for myself than I already have.. To cut a long story short, my life will change dramatically.. What did I jump into this time?
One thing's for sure, though.. IF I win tomorrow, there's no other way but forward.. I'll have to swallow my laziness whole and just try to forge ahead..
Went to Veritas and chess club meetings today.. Elected my friend, J as the new president of the chess club.. We ended up having the 1st serious discussion about the club's future :P In a way I do feel glad that J's taken over my ex's post.. Well, granted, the club has been a drag without my ex, but at least with J, it looks to me like the club can expect better days to come :P
