I lost the elections :P A lot of people said that I lost by a small margin (how small, I don't know), but people have been mostly sympathetic.. A lot of them were even ready to console me.. Only there wasn't any consoling needed really :P
Well, OK.. so I was a bit disappointed at not winning.. But after a while I remembered about my awesome manifesto and everything's peachy again.. Besides, a lot of people thought that I should've won.. so at least that's a balm to my wounded ego :P
Nevertheless, when a friend of mine, who got elected into the SC, had to skip the tutorial because she had the 1st SC meeting, I was soooo relieved.. I kept thinking 'Oh my god.. That would've been me!'.. So in a way I'm glad that I'm not stuck with the duties of an SC..
I talked to my friend about my ex.. Because he suddenly made this semi u-turn.. It was a long story.. and since I haven't spoken to anybody about my ex for a few days now, I was a bit stressed out.. Until I talked to that friend.. In the end, he told me that I'm like Meg Ryan waiting for Dennis Quaid to rescue me.. hahahaha.. That really made my day :P
Honestly, I was thinking more along the lines of Nicholas Cage.. But that's because I really liked 'City of Angels' :)
