Went to Maybank to pay for my sms2call and Nokia battery.. Then I went to Plaza Alam Sentral to get myself what I never thought I'd get for the rest of my life.. contact lenses!! Yup.. After 10 years of wearing glasses, I've finally decided that I needed a change..
Well, it wasn't particularly comfortable.. My eyes stung when I 1st had them in my eyes.. And I quickly took them off after only 3 hrs of use.. Well.. I guess I'll just go slow.. This is going to take a long time for me to get used to.. :P
My BuySell bid for a mini digital camera went through.. RM80 plus RM8 shipping.. pretty steep if you ask me.. I put the bid during 1 of my 1st visits to the auction site.. I found out later while I was browsing the site that most mini digicams there are sold off for around RM70+.. I tried to retract the bid but the seller didn't allow it.. Maybe because there was no other bidder and I was the only person to (stupidly) bid on it :P
I also went to Hot Market to buy a few birthday presents in advance.. Soft toys, keychains, etc.. Small decorative stuff which I could pass off as birthday gifts in case one of my friends' birthday comes around.. which in most cases I would've forgotten :P
Hmm.. I used to be as quiet as possible whenever my birthday came around.. I wanted to see if anybody cared enough about me to remember and give me presents.. What a total waste of time.. There was this 1 time when my mum only realized it was my birthday at 5pm and she gave me a hairbrush and an alarm clock :P
Since then I vowed to myself that on every February 22 (that's my birthday, duh!) I will get what I want.. Months before my birthday I would tell my brother what to get for me and when his birthday comes, I return the favor.. So far it has worked like a charm :)
