Cancelled my tuition class today.. again.. I'm seriously considering of cancelling the rest of my classes.. The very poor turnout being one of the factors.. plus the fact that 1 of my students (read : 50%) is sick.. So I think I'll just end my suffering now..
I actually succeeded in finishing 1 (one) homework today.. YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEE.. what an achievement.. LOL.. Hopefully I'll be able to finish off my backlog of homework by the time the holidays are over.. :P
A friend of mine asked me to return to college a day earlier to keep her company.. Hmm.. interesting offer.. I was just thinking of the same thing.. I've got loads of stuff to unpack there so I think I could use the extra 24 hours..
I called sms2call and StarCall to ask about their calling cards. They're not unlike Ring Ring Kad and the likes of other prepaid cards, but those two initiate calls through SMS, which would save me so much more money compared to calling Ring Ring Kad's 1800 number with my handphone.. Inovas charges 33 sen per minute for calls to mobile phones nationwide compared to StarCall's 49 sen.. But signing up for sms2call is tedious; I have to bank in my deposit at the nearest Maybank branch and fax a top-up form to them for each reload.. Maybe businesses were more of their niche compared to end consumers.. But I think their customer service is excellent and I really like the idea of saving almost 60 sen per minute for my subsequent calls.. So I'm going to make my deposit tomorrow..
I also won my 1st online auction at BuySell, formerly known as Lelong.com.my.. Got myself a Nokia 3310 battery for RM13.. Only after I won that I realized the seller was from Georgetown.. So I had to add an extra RM3 for shipping charges :P
What else did I bid on? A mini digital camera which always starts at RM1 but ends up costing more than RM70 as the auction goes..
