Today we had a specific slot for our House activity in conjuction with the juniors' induction week.. Sapphire had our own Amazing Race, not unlike the one our batch went through last year.. (On that note, what's with all the copying of last year's input?).. Anyway, together with A, I was in charge of Group 1.. Since I already knew that with me at the helm, there was no way for my group to win :P So as a consolation, at the beginning of the race, I gave them a secondary mission.. Every one of them has to memorize each other's full name and birthday.. If (and when) they succeed, I would buy them all a drink at the cafe.. So while we were all walking leisurely around the college compound (I led them through the long way - twice), everybody was blurting out names and numbers.. In the end, we were the 9th group out of 11.. But the group succeeded in their mission, so I have to keep my promise.. In the end, we agreed to meet at 8.30pm tomorrow..
'Samurai' was up next.. It was the highlight of the whole Induction Week program.. The poor kids had to go through so much torment, just the way our batch did exactly one year ago.. We got to see them doing the same things we did.. It was a trip down memory lane.. And during the short sketch at the end of the night, we saw Z's stick break mid-fight and F launching imaginary 'kamehameha' (that's fireballs for those Dragon Ball Z deprived) to the hapless 'hero'.. Although there were a few glitches here and there, it was quite an enjoyable night :)
