I went to represent Veritas for today's clubs and societies registration day.. It was exactly one year ago when I was the junior who ran around the Great Hall looking for clubs to join.. It was also the day when I braved myself to approach this particular collegemate of mine who strongly resembled my brother :P
It was nice to be the one who sat at the table for a change.. Most of the time, though, I merely glanced left and right because almost all the tables were surrounded by juniors except mine :P By 6.30pm, I managed to get 25 names, almost as many as the current team.. Pretty encouraging, if you ask me..
Lots of people were still asking for more copies of Veritas.. Apparently the admin guy forgot that we requested 300 copies because he was quite smug when we came to collect the 100 copies that he had printed for the day, which was the second batch after the first batch of 100 copies..When I brought it up, he told me that he'd get it done by tomorrow.. Heh, that was what he told me last week :P
FE got it distributed during dinner.. I heard that she went from table to table and gave the seniors their copies personally.. Man, I really don't know what I would do without my Veritas team.. Each and every one of my teammates is so cooperative, the magazine would not have seen the light of day if it weren't for them.. But with me being the editor, I tend to get the extra credit.. I must be the person with the least amount of work yet I'm the one who's reaping all the benefits.. And honestly, I don't think it's fair at all..
Anyway, Mr. R just came into IT Lab 3, where I am, just now.. And I'm skipping his class.. Darn.. Kantoi :P
